🚨 SUCCESSFUL ARREST – CABLE THEFT SUSPECTS🚨 | ROOSEVELT PARK

At approximately 21:35 this evening, SCP Security received an urgent report from a resident regarding a suspicious vehicle in the Roosevelt Park area. A patrolling Reaction Officer was stopped by the resident, who pointed out where suspects were hiding in a manhole at the corner of Anton Van Wouw Street and Mendelsohn Road, Roosevelt Park.

Our Control Room immediately dispatched multiple officers, who arrived within minutes.

Upon arrival, multiple suspects fled the scene in a white Suzuki Swift, while two suspects were left behind and attempted to escape on foot.

🚔 A foot pursuit ensued through the surrounding area📍 The suspects were successfully apprehended at the corner of Beyers Naudé Drive and Mendelsohn Road, Roosevelt Park

🔧 Multiple copper cables were recovered 🔧 Recovered items: approximately 43 pieces of 1.5m copper cables

This successful arrest highlights the importance of community vigilance, proactive patrols, and coordinated response.
