SCP SECURITY (#TEAMSCP) was founded by Clive Maher in 2015. Previously a SAPS Member with 15 years’ experience, he trained and worked together with his colleagues at Fairland SAPS and the highly effective Fairland Reservist force led by the renowned Colonel Marc Ishlove for a number of years.
Clive applied for and was successful in being transferred to JHB Flying Squad better known as the Rapid Response Unit – This is one of South Africa’s most efficient and reputable SAPS Units focussing on Priority Crimes.
Clive has always had a passion for Security and his move from SAPS to Security was inevitable and SCP Security was born. This well planned and executed decision was specific to creating an attentive, bespoke personal service-driven model to bolster trust in the Security Industry and uplift protection within the community.
SCP Security is an enforcement business whose members are all results driven. Our hand-picked, compliant and registered security members are of the highest calibre - all intensively trained to ensure that our clients’ needs are fully understood.
Our service commitment includes protection and reaction response duties which are practical, effective and ethically delivered with integrity and professionalism.

Grant supports all of our IT and system administration requirements and online record management. of call-outs and technical service requests.
Grant established and specifically maintains the SCP Multi-Suburb Emergency Groups, liaising with with our internal social media team to keep all our clients. connected and enlightened in respect of emergency calls and notifications within our community..
Fire Chief : SCP Fire, Search & Rescue
Richard Eustace
Richard Eustace has 39 years of firefighting experience.- started working at the Algoa Metro Ambulance Rescue Service in the Eastern Cape, joined Sandton Fire Brigade and later the Greater Johannesburg Emergency Management Services.
Richard attended several Fire and Emergency Services Courses, studied fire technology and fire engineering science through the South African Fire Services Institute and Fire Protection Engineering and Advanced Industrial Property Loss Prevention at the University of Eastern Kentucky. He has completed an Advanced SHE Management course and a Higher Certificate in Insurance.
Richard, “retired” from the Fire Service at the rank of Divisional Chief and currently works as the Head of Risk Engineering at a prominent South African short term insurance company having also worked as a Highly Protected Risk Engineer in the USA; Africa; Europe; The Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

As SCP's Fire Chief, Henry is responsible for our Fire Truck services responding to emergency & medical incidents in our coverage area. Previously responsible for Incident Command Management (FEMA) applied at Roosevelt Park Fire Station for more than 10 years

Our armed response team patrols your community with vigilance. You can depend on our highly skilled team to respond to your call within an average of 3 minutes. All calls are logged and response activities recorded.

THE SUPORT TEAM
THE CONTROL ROOM TEAM
The Control Room monitors all sources of emergency announcements and notifications, including your alarm systems, panic on mobile, gate monitoring and off site CCTV monitoring. This includes Facebook groups, Multi-suburb Emergency Groups and Special Services CPO personnel.
They provide the support and communications to our Roaming Response Teams throughout the SCP Area footprint.
