SCP Security Private Fire Search & Rescue responded to a fallen tree on Buffalo Road, Emmarentia, on Tuesday evening.
At 19:57, the SCP Control Room received a report of a tree blocking the roadway, and immediately dispatched our team to assist with closing off the road and ensuring it was safe for motorists.
Our team arrived swiftly and began cutting away the main sections of the tree, which was obstructing the middle of the road. The tree had also nearly struck a power line and a guard house nearby, creating an additional risk to the area.
As operations were nearing completion, City Parks arrived on scene and assisted with clearing the remaining debris from the roadway.
