🚨 Trespassing Incident | Linden, JHB 🚨

At approximately 05:42 this morning, our control room received an alert about a person making noise at a vacant property along 2nd Avenue in Linden, suspected to be trespassing.
Our Reaction Officer was immediately dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival, the officer entered the premises and spotted a suspect inside the yard, confirming the report. A backup vehicle was swiftly called to provide assistance.
As officers moved in, the suspect attempted to flee the scene. During his escape, he kicked and damaged the windscreen of one of our vehicles.
A foot pursuit ensued through the neighbourhood, with our teams maintaining visual contact throughout the chase. After an intense pursuit, the suspect was successfully apprehended on Road No. 3 in Victory Park.
SAPS members were called in to assist, and the suspect was taken into police custody.
This successful arrest highlights the dedication and quick response of our SCP Security team in ensuring the safety and security of our community.
