Suspect Apprehended in Northcliff Break-In Incident

At approximately 06:00 AM, our control room was alerted to a break-in in progress at a business located on Beyers Naude Drive, corner of Lawley Avenue, Northcliff.

Several Reaction units were dispatched to the location, and upon the arrival of the Reaction Officers, the suspect was cornered and apprehended inside the property. The suspect was searched, and a bag containing a collection of tools used in the break-in was recovered.

The suspect attempted to steal solar lights from the property. The suspect is also responsible for the solar light thefts that occurred earlier this morning at a Complex in Montgomery Park.

The suspect was transferred to the Fairland SAPS for further processing and investigation.
