SCP Security is honoured to be in attendance with Linden SAPS, CCIN - VCSI, LCA Linden and Linden CPF team at Cresta Mall. Our joint presence was in direct support of the global 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign, a crucial initiative observed annually in South Africa.
The event served as a platform to raise public awareness, show solidarity with survivors, and reinforce the message that Gender-Based Violence (GBV) has no place in our society. SCP Security's role was to provide a secure and supportive environment for the VCSI team and mall patrons engaging with the initiative.
Our personnel worked collaboratively with the VCSI unit, demonstrating a strong partnership between private security and law enforcement in tackling this national crisis. Our visible presence underscored our commitment to community safety and the specific protection of vulnerable groups.
SCP Security proudly supports the 16 Days of Activism and the ongoing work of the VCSI team. We believe that safety is a fundamental right, and we are committed to using our resources and expertise to help combat Gender-Based Violence.
We will continue to stand against GBV beyond these 16 days, integrating this commitment into our ongoing operations and community engagement efforts.
