🚨 INTRUDER APPREHENDED | ROOSEVELT PARK 🚨

On Wednesday, 31 December 2025, at approximately 02:41, the SCP Control Room received an alarm activation from the Roosevelt Bowling Club on Milner Avenue, Roosevelt Park. An SCP Security Reaction Officer was immediately dispatched to the premises.
Upon arrival, the officer observed a suspect attempting to gain entry through a window. Using authorised access, the officer entered the building and identified a broken window, confirming a case of forced entry. The suspect was subsequently located inside the premises, where he was found consuming alcohol.
Backup was requested, and additional SCP officers responded. The suspect was successfully apprehended on site. A vehicle located on the premises was initially suspected to belong to the suspect; however, it was later confirmed by the caretaker and an on-site representative that the vehicle belonged to a customer who had departed earlier.
SAPS were immediately notified and attended the scene. The suspect was formally handed over to Sophiatown SAPS, with custody assumed by Constable Makanya and Constable Kitane.
The premises were secured, and no further threats were identified. The incident was successfully resolved and handed over to SAPS for further investigation and processing.
