SCP Private Fire Search & Rescue Fire Engine! 🔥🚨

At 15:08, our SCP Security Control Room was alerted via WhatsApp community groups to a fire at Eeufees Oord Old Age Home in Sophiatown.

Our SCP Private Fire Search & Rescue Team, together with CoJEMS, responded swiftly.

CoJEMS (City of Johannesburg) Fire Truck 🔥🚨

The property which was on fire. the fire crew managed to battle the fire and extinguish it in quick succession

On arrival, the structure was found fully engulfed in flames. The fire was successfully contained and extinguished, though the entire roof was destroyed. Fortunately, there was no damage to nearby properties.

One tenant reportedly suffered smoke inhalation and minor burns. An ambulance was called to assist the patient on scene.
