🚨 CIT Bombing – Main Reef Road Between Nadine and Robert | Robertville 🚨

At approximately 08:23, our SCP Security Control Room received an alert regarding a Cash-In-Transit (CIT) robbery taking place along Main Reef Road between Nadine and Robert in Robertville.

SAPS, JMPD, ADT-Fidelity SecureFire, CoJEMS, Help24, ER24, and SCP Private Fire Search & Rescue were dispatched to the scene.

It was reported that the suspects used a silver Audi A4, a white BMW (no further description given), and a VW Amarok bakkie to commit the robbery. Upon arrival, emergency services confirmed that a CIT vehicle had been bombed, and one vehicle was found burning. The suspects had already fled the scene.

Further investigation revealed that the cash van contained no money at the time of the incident. The scene was cordoned off while fire services extinguished the fire.

🙏 Thankfully, no casualties were reported.
